How the ideas board works

Every idea is its own post, and the votes decide what rises to the top.

Posting an idea

  1. Search first. If it exists, vote on it instead of posting a duplicate. Duplicates get merged and the votes are added together.
  2. Describe the problem you are trying to solve, not only the feature you imagine. What are you doing, and what gets in the way?
  3. One idea per post.

Voting

Use the arrow on an idea to upvote it. Votes are how we see demand, so vote only for what you would actually use.

Status

We tag every idea we have looked at:

  • Under review: we are looking at this.
  • Planned: accepted and on the roadmap.
  • In progress: being built now.
  • Shipped: released. We link the release notes.
  • Not planned: we will not build this, or not now. We always say why.

The board is sorted by votes by default. Switch to Latest to see what is new.
